Transition is inevitable. Will you THRIVE?

Change wears so many faces

The direction may be clear, like you’re becoming an empty-nester, a loved one has passed on, or you need a new job. If you’re a student, there are new transitions every year that can be scary or exciting. An older student faces major life decisions about next steps as a young adult. There are significant practical, relational, role and identity shifts involved in all of these seasons. Often there is grieving to face.

Other times, the direction may not be clear at all. You may just be familiar with a nagging sense that ‘something’ has to give. Either one requires you to grow and stretch. But something is blocking you.

How often we hear from confused and overwhelmed clients in all of these scenes–

“I just don’t know what to do now…” “I feel out of control.”

How Does Therapy Help Me Thrive in my Transition?

Fortunately, we don’t have to do the impossible of seeing clearly into the future to create a sense of security and direction! We do need to recognize and grieve the inevitable losses we face when entering into a new time. Naturally, that means saying goodbye to something familiar.

To help you begin to welcome rather than resist the change, we work to fully understand what brought you to this present emotional place. We keep identifying what you can change and what you can learn to accept. Articulating your needs, values, desires, and mobilizing your natural resources (time, energy, relationships, etc.) is vital!

YOU CAN THRIVE!

You know change is here. You feel it. You also know you aren’t thriving. What would happen if you called and together we found your way?
